This role requires a strong understanding of social media best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

The Role:

Content Creation & Management:

  • Plan, create, and curate compelling content (copy, graphics, video) tailored to each platform
  • Ensure our tone of voice and visuals are consistently on-brand across all channels
  • Collaborate with marketing, internal comms, and village teams to bring the culture of our communities to life online

Community Management

  • Be the voice of the brand; engage with our audience, respond to comments/messages, and manage reviews
  • Build a thriving, positive, and interactive online community

Paid Social Campaigns

  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and leads
  • Manage budgets and report on ROI, continuously refining strategies based on performance

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and wider team to integrate social across campaigns
  • Support local marketing efforts by aligning content with village-specific initiatives
  • Use tools (like Hootsuite and HubSpot) to streamline and scale activity

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Solid experience managing social media for brands, with proven results in both paid and organic
  • Platform know-how: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong project and time management abilities

Desired Skills:

  • HubSpot experience
  • Canva or basic design/video editing skills
  • A background in lifestyle, wellness, or community-focused brands

Why Join us?

  • Competitive salary & benefits package (PMI, Medicash, volunteering days, generous annual lave + birthday off!)
  • Be part of a collaborative, driven, and friendly marketing team
  • Play a meaningful role in shaping the lives of older people and their families
