TEMPORARY STUDENT SUPERVISOR POSITION SUMMARYThe Student Supervision Support person provides supports to students who remain on the school grounds (indoor and outdoor locations) during nutritional breaks and throughout the day on a daily or supply basis. Please note that you may be working in an environment where assistance may be need with students that may have significant health/medical or behavioral needs
. The principal shall determine the time period during which the Student Supervision Support staff will be employed. The successful candidate must be able to understand and respond to needs of diverse school communities.POSITION TITLE: Student Supervisor
LOCATION: East Williams PS
RATE OF PAY: $25.75
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety and security of students.
- Communicate with a diverse range of staff, students and guardians.
- Supervise the disposal of lunch refuse in suitable containers and the general cleaning of the lunchroom areas.
- Dealing with discipline problems in a manner prescribed by the principal and reporting significant disciplinary actions to the principal or designate.
- Carrying out such supervision duties as the principal may assign.
