Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic childcare professional ready to make a real difference in little lives? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Room Leader to become part of our warm and welcoming team at The Carshalton Day Nursery.

\n\n

Salary: £29,120.00 per annum

\n\n

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, All year round

\n\n

The nursery is Nestled within the scenic grounds of Grove Park, just a short 2-minute walk from Carshalton High Street and 10 minutes from Carshalton Station

Your role as room leader will be to:

\n\n

\n\t
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, stimulating activities in line with the EYFS.
\n\t
• Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
\n\t
• Lead and mentor your room team, promoting best practice and professional growth.
\n\t
• Maintain accurate records and learning journals using EyMan.
\n\t
• Ensure a strong key person approach and uphold safeguarding standards.
\n\t
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all.
\n

Requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• Level 3 Childcare qualification – Essential
\n\t
• 1+ year in Early Years – Essential
\n\t
• 6+ months in a senior role – Desirable
\n\t
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge – Essential
\n\t
• Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential
\n
