Legal Secretary

- Provide secretarial and administrative support to fee-earners and partners
- Carry out digital dictation typing
- Work within the firm’s case management system
- Ideal for someone enthusiastic, organised, and keen to build a career in law
- Digital dictation typing and all typing within the case management system
- Produce correspondence and legal documents to a high standard
- Arrange meetings, appointments and manage diaries
- Liaise with clients, counsel, witnesses, and colleagues across departments
- Handle telephone and email enquiries, taking accurate messages
- Maintain files (electronic and paper-based) in line with compliance requirements
- Support time recording, billing, and general admin tasks
- Good IT skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and case management systems
- Knowledge of legal terminology/document formats (training can be provided)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Professional, discreet, and client-focused
- Keen to develop a long-term career in law
