Director Of Fire
Director of Fire & DSEAR Consultancy
Are you an experienced Fire Safety or DSEAR professional looking to lead and grow a specialist consultancy business? Our client, a market-leading risk management and consultancy business, is seeking a commercially focused Director of Fire & DSEAR Consultancy to lead the strategic growth, performance and development of its Fire & DSEAR practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of an established consultancy offering, driving business growth, developing client relationships, leading a team of specialists and identifying new market opportunities. We're looking for someone with the technical credibility to lead within the Fire Safety and DSEAR sector, coupled with the leadership skills and commercial mindset to build a high-performing consultancy practice. We recognise that many of the strongest candidates may come mainly from a Fire Risk Management or Fire Safety background, so training in DSEAR would be provided where needed. This role would suit an existing Director, Head of Fire, Consultancy Manager or Senior Fire Risk Assessor looking to make a significant impact within a growing business. What you'll be doing: * Leading the growth strategy, performance and profitability of the Fire & DSEAR Consultancy division. * Developing and strengthening relationships with clients, insurers, brokers and key stakeholders. * Identifying and securing new business opportunities while expanding existing client accounts. * Leading, mentoring and developing a team of specialist Fire & DSEAR consultants. * Ensuring the delivery of high-quality consultancy services, technical governance and regulatory compliance. What we're looking for: * Significant experience within Fire Safety, Fire Risk Management, DSEAR or a related consultancy environment. * To hold or be working towards a Level 5 Fire qualification (or equivalent professional qualification). * Ideally experience leading teams, consultancy functions or technical services within a commercial environment. * Strong business development and client relationship management attributes or experience. * Fire Engineering knowledge or experience would be beneficial but is not essential. What you will get: * Competitive salary and performance-related bonus. * Car allowance and comprehensive benefits package. * Private Medical Insurance, Pension Scheme and Life Assurance. * Flexible and hybrid working arrangements. * The opportunity to lead and shape a growing national consultancy practice within a market-leading business. Why this opportunity? Our client is a growing, market-leading business offering real career progression, professional development and a collaborative culture where your work truly matters. They encourage collaboration, with entrepreneurship at their core. They are a fast-paced, growing organisation and an exciting place to be. They also value ambition and creative thinking. You don't have to tick every box to apply — if you bring fresh ideas and a drive to grow, they'd love to hear from you #J-18808-LjbffrRecommended Jobs
