SEN Tutor
• Deliver highly personalised one-to-one support sessions
• Support students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, PMLD, SLD, and complex SEN needs
• Work in line with EHCP targets and specialist strategies
• Adapt teaching methods and communication approaches to individual needs
• Support emotional regulation, engagement, and confidence-building
• Build positive relationships with students and families
• Deliver sessions within students’ homes or community settings Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting children or young people with complex SEN
• Experience working with EHCPs
• Strong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
• Comfortable working independently in home environments
• DBS registered on the Update Service
• Flexible daytime availability
• Minimum commitment of 10 hours weekly Desirable Qualifications
• PGCE and/or QTS
• Team Teach, MAPA, or behaviour support training
• SEN specialist qualifications
• Experience in specialist schools or alternative provision settings Additional Information
• £25–£35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
