Equity Derivatives Trader - VP
ING is rapidly expanding its ambitions within Equity Derivatives with a strategic focus on its corporate clients. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive range of equity derivative solutions to our clients across the wholesale bank. We aim to create a digitalized, frictionless environment that supports our growth and enhances our clients' experience. We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Vice President to help us achieve these ambitions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
Key responsibilities:
Price equity derivatives transactions and manage associated market and risk exposures.
Work in close partnership with Sales, Risk Management and other key stakeholders to deliver optimal client solutions
Monitor and manage portfolio exposures, ensuring full compliance with internal risk limits, governance and control frameworks
Ensure that risk parameters are marked in an effective manner.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and contribute to the strategic growth of the equity derivatives franchise.
Candidate Profile
Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
Experience (3y+) trading equity derivatives.
Strong understanding of derivative pricing and hedging strategies.
Experience with volatility modelling and managing light exotic products.
Demonstrated ability to risk manage and produce consistent P&L.
Working knowledge of European equity derivatives market.
Degree holder in Finance or STEM subject.
Desirable:
Experience with corporate equity derivatives and the relevant products and structures.
