We’re especially looking for individuals who are experts in front-end engineering for mobile or web platforms, with deep experience in modern frameworks and performance optimization. You’ll bring hands-on experience with generative AI technologies and understand how to apply them to enhance product experiences. Consulting experience is also key - you’ll be comfortable engaging with clients, shaping solutions, and driving strategic outcomes.

As a mobile engineering specialist, you will:

• Support growth within our customer technology product engineering practice

• Advise clients on how to build product and platform engineering capabilities and teams

• Build strong client relationships focused on customer, digital and platforms

• Lead teams across large digital & agile transformation programmes

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products and solutions

• Propel the use of Generative AI within our work and products

• Provide input to technology & engineering thought leadership to our clients and teams

• Maximise team performance through mentorship, skills learning and career development

• Contribute to developing offerings, assets, capabilities, and attend events

Qualification

We are looking for experience in the following:

• 4 years+ experience mobile development experience (iOS or Android)

• 2 years+ experience leading teams/squads

• Experience working closely with other discepins (Desgin, QA, Cloud, PM/PO/Delivery)

• Modern declarative interface experience (SwiftUI/Jetpack Compose)

• Use of Generative AI within your workflows and/or products you are creating

• Experience with integrating cloud services directly into complex solutions(GraphQL/Restful APIs)

• Extensive experience in agile environments for digital product creation

• Broad experience in modern mobile engineering practices including:

o Mobile App Architecture patterns

o App Store/Play Store initial submissions and releases

o Security best practices, secure coding and privacy awareness

o Unit and automated testing

o CI/CD setup and maintenance

o Debugging and problem solving issues

o Accessibility best practices

• Comfortable in articulating trends in technology and engineering practices

• Experience improving speed and quality outcomes using modern engineering practices

Set yourself apart:

• Mobile payments, CoreData/Room, Identity experience

• Experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks

• Backend/cloud experience

• Presented your work at an event or conference

• Experience developing short & long-term plans for a team’s growth and transformation

• Track record at engaging with senior leadership as a trusted advisor

Academic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
