Colt is the New Standard in high bandwidth network and voice services for enterprises and wholesale customers in Europe, Asia and North America’s largest business hubs. With a global reach but a deep local presence, Colt is big enough to deliver and small enough to care.
Why we need this role
Colt is expanding its focus on the UK mid-market segment and is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive to re-engage dormant accounts and unlock new revenue opportunities. This role is ideal for a new business-oriented professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering value to mid-sized enterprises.
What you will do
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and growing revenue within a portfolio of dormant or under-engaged mid-market accounts in the UK. Your focus will be on:
Dormant Account Activation
- Reconnect with previously active mid-market customers to understand their current needs and challenges.
- Develop tailored engagement strategies to re-establish Colt as a trusted technology partner.
- Identify and pursue quick-win opportunities and long-term growth potential.
New Business Development
- Drive new revenue through upsell and cross-sell of Colt’s solutions (networking, cloud, cybersecurity, voice).
- Build and execute strategic account plans to convert dormant accounts into active, high-value relationships.
- Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to position Colt’s value proposition effectively.
Sales Execution & Collaboration
- Achieve personal sales targets focused on reactivation and growth within the mid-market segment.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Delivery) to ensure customer success.
- Apply consultative selling techniques and leverage MEDDICC or similar methodologies.
