What You’ll Be Doing
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver lessons that are both engaging and challenging, covering the full National Curriculum.
- Support Individual Needs: Adapt teaching strategies to ensure that all students, including those with SEND and additional needs, are fully included in lessons and activities.
- Track and Assess Progress: Regularly monitor and assess students' progress, setting clear targets and providing feedback that encourages improvement and success.
- Create an Inclusive Classroom: Build a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with fellow teachers and support staff to share best practices, ensure consistency across the year group, and develop an exciting and cohesive curriculum.
- Engage with Parents: Communicate regularly with parents and carers to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in School Activities: Be an active participant in the wider school community, attending school events and contributing to extracurricular activities.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a KS2 Teacher who:
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience in teaching Key Stage 2 and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Demonstrates a commitment to providing an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students.
- Is passionate about student achievement and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential.
- Has excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Is a team player, willing to collaborate and share ideas with others to continuously improve teaching practice.
- Holds a growth mindset, ready to embrace new ideas and approaches to teaching.
