Mobile PSV HGV Engineer
Location: Central London
Earning Potential: £55,000–£60,000 OTE
Hours: 38 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Venatu Automotive is recruiting experienced Mobile PSV/HGV Engineers for permanent roles across Central London and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to swap the workshop for the open road, with a company van, door-to-door pay and the potential to earn up to £60,000 per year.
QUALIFIED PSV AND HGV ENGINEERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
You don't need previous bus or coach experience if you're a qualified HGV Engineer with the relevant technical skills.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Basic 38 hours Monday to Friday £38,808
- £55,000–£60,000 realistic OTE
- Paid door-to-door – from leaving home until returning
- Overtime available after contracted hours
- Monday–Friday overtime: £26.00 per hour
- Saturday overtime: £29.00 per hour
- Sunday / Bank Holiday overtime: £39.00 per hour
- Company van provided + Tools
- Mobile Phone/Laptop
- Fuel Card
- Excellent technical and operational support
As a Mobile PSV Engineer, you'll be out on the road providing essential engineering support to customers across Central London and surrounding areas.
You'll be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing buses and coaches
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out roadside repairs
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Delivering excellent customer service
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN THE MOBILE PSV / HGV ENGINEER?
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent Heavy Vehicle qualification
- Previous PSV, HGV or Bus & Coach engineering experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Good diagnostic experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills

- Heavy Vehicle Technicians
- HGV Mechanics looking to move into mobile engineering
If you're a qualified HGV Engineer with strong mechanical skills, your experience is transferable.
