Store Manager Location: Surrey Salary: £50,000 Are you an experienced Retail or Store Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? Your Recruitment Coach are currently looking for a Retail Manager / Store Manager to join one of their well-established and highly successful clients. Overview of the Role As Retail Manager / Store Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, leading a small sales team and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, presentation and sales performance. You will be a hands-on manager who leads by example, motivates the team and creates a welcoming and professional retail environment. You will play a key role in driving sales, developing customer relationships, managing daily operations and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience. Key Responsibilities · Managing, motivating and developing a small retail sales team. · Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store. · Driving sales performance and achieving business targets. · Delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term customer relationships. · Welcoming customers and understanding their individual requirements. · Providing product advice and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. · Managing quotations, orders, payments and deliveries. · Ensuring the store is presented to the highest possible standard. · Managing staff rotas, appointments and daily operational requirements. · Handling customer queries, complaints and after-sales issues professionally. · Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the CRM system. · Identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve store performance. Skills & Experience Essential and desirable experience: · Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager or similar. · Proven experience managing and motivating a team. · A strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving sales. · Excellent customer service and communication skills. · Confident building relationships with customers and colleagues. · Strong organisational and time management skills. · Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced retail environment. · A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
