Project Director

Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with an experienced Senior PM / Project Director to join a well–established client. The successful candidate will join our client in a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis, with up to three days a week working from the clients London office. Our client is a leading contractor specialising in water, wastewater, and industrial water construction projects, focusing on delivering high–quality infrastructure solutions that are sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

–Plan, review, and monitor project execution, including approval of construction plans.

–Promote safety, quality standards, and BMS implementation throughout the project.

–Ensure sufficient trained personnel and clear roles for the project team.

–Manage commercial aspects, providing forecasts and ensuring PEP records are complete.

–Report non–conformities, estimate costs, and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies.

–Apply project management practices from start to completion and stay updated through professional development.

–Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Key Requirements:

–Chartered status.

–Project Management experience in managing multi–disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry .

–Degree or equivalent in construction, commercial, or engineering discipline.

–Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.

–Excellent communication and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and end users.

–Delivery–focused, with the ability to set targets and motivate multi–disciplinary teams to meet time, cost, and quality goals.

–Extensive experience in project delivery.

–Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.

–Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, is desirable!
