Senior Project Manager

Essentia, part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking to recruit Senior Project Manager to play a key role within its Estate Development function.

Essentia Group is part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Responsible for non- clinical healthcare services, Essentia designs, builds and maintains healthcare infrastructure vital to the smooth running of healthcare services. This encompasses everything from construction projects and healthcare planning to waste management, housekeeping, transport and security. Essentia employs around 1,900 people, who provide essential support to clinical teams working across the acute hospital of Guy’s and St Thomas’, Royal Brompton and Harefield as well as the South East London Community and other partner Trusts. Working within the Capital Projects team, the Senior Project Manager role will lead the delivery of a variety of key major capital projects across the GSTT estate portfolio. ?The role offers the chance to lead a portfolio of major capital projects with individual project values routinely in excess of £50m that will have a transformative impact on the NHS estate and healthcare provision in London for future generations.

We are seeking individuals with demonstrable experience of leading the procurement and delivery of refurbishment projects in a complex estate setting with a strong background in capital project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination. You’ll be instrumental in managing complex healthcare infrastructure projects from planning through to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, given the need to proactively develop positive relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience of delivering projects in live, operational, critical environments would be particularly advantageous.
