Part-time Housekeeper in SW11, Job ID J1B4B7R
This lovely family based in Battersea is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to keep their home clean and tidy. The role involves all general housekeeping duties. The family has two Cocker Spaniels, so the candidate must be comfortable being around dogs. The dogs have a regular walker, but occasional help may be needed, such as letting them out into the garden for bathroom breaks.
Working hours: 3 full days a week, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Duties include:
- Occasionally looking after the children at their home
- Occasional pick-ups from school and school clubs, and drop-offs (all within walking distance)
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, including the steps outside the front and back of the house
- Dusting and polishing mirrors, furniture, and fittings
- Cleaning bathrooms, including wash basins, toilets, bathtubs, and showers
- Organising bathroom cupboards and polishing mirrors
- Kitchen cleaning, including unloading the dishwasher, organising cupboards, and keeping the fridge tidy
- Deep cleaning the oven, fridge, and larder when the family are away
- Emptying bins
- Laundry duties, including washing clothes, unloading, ironing, and putting them away neatly
- Making up the beds and changing linens
- Tidying and organising toys and the toy cupboard
- Sweeping the patio area
- Watering the garden when the family are away
- Providing occasional help with the family’s two cocker spaniels, such as letting them into the garden to go to the bathroom (dogs have a walker)
