Mobile Automotive Technician
Mobile Vehicle Technician – Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) Division

What You’ll Do
- Follow a clear digital schedule of pre‑booked appointments.
- Perform routine servicing and comprehensive diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
- Carry out in‑depth repairs normally completed in a workshop, adhering to the organisation’s safety standards.
- Provide members with advice, recommendations and vehicle safety checks.
- Order parts and manage paperwork through the mobile service platform.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with members.
- Desire for independence, variety and a customer‑focused mindset.
Working Conditions
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week – core hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with one Saturday in four.
- No emergency call‑outs or unpredictable shift patterns – you work from a scheduled list.
- Provided equipment: fully equipped mobile van, fuel card, uniform, complete tool set and advanced diagnostics.
- London Weighting Allowance included where applicable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: £45,370 per annum (inclusive of London weighting).
- On‑target earnings: up to £57,000 per annum through bonuses and premium‑rate overtime.
- Guaranteed overtime (opt‑in): after the first month you can work extra rest days at £30 per hour, potentially adding £3,000‑£5,000 annually.
- Holiday: 23 days paid holiday (rising to 25 days after service), plus bank holidays.

- Pension: up to 6.5 % employer‑matched contributions.
