Nanny-Housekeeper for a live-in role, Job ID J1D4F7
A lovely family in Regent’s Park, London is looking for a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and organised household while providing care for their newborn baby and school-aged child. They are seeking someone flexible, proactive, and supportive, particularly during the mother’s maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be confident in carrying out all general childcare and housekeeping duties. A driver with a full UK driving licence would be a bonus. Knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish, or Tagalog would also be advantageous, though English-speaking candidates will be fully considered. The family is also open to hiring Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper candidates. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 32 hours per week
Accommodation: Own bedroom and shared bathroom
Duties include:
- Assisting with nappy changes and bottle preparation for infants
- Bathing the children and maintaining their hygiene
- Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and developmental progress
- Preparing and serving nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks
- Organising and maintaining tidy children’s bedrooms and play areas
- Engaging the children in play, educational activities, reading, and outdoor outings
- Supporting early learning and literacy through structured daily routines
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces throughout the home
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchen areas
- Washing, drying, ironing, and folding laundry, including children's clothing and household linens
- Making beds and changing linens as required
- Managing dishware, including loading/unloading the dishwasher and keeping kitchen surfaces clean
