This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic primary specialist, whether an experienced practitioner looking for a fresh challenge or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT), to spark curiosity, foster foundational literacy and numeracy, and inspire a love of learning across a diverse, high-aspiring young student body.
About the Role
As a Primary School Teacher, you will create a structured, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed. Joining a collaborative phase team, you will plan and deliver an engaging, broad-balanced curriculum (available in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 based on your expertise), building core academic competencies, social-emotional confidence, and creative expression.

Culture: A supportive, well-resourced phase team equipped with shared planning resources, dedicated teaching assistant support, and forward-thinking leadership
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, high-impact lessons across the primary National Curriculum (with a strong emphasis on early reading, phonics, writing, and mastery mathematics).
Cultivate an inclusive, encouraging, and positive classroom management culture that promotes positive behavior, high expectations, and mutual respect.
Monitor, record, and evaluate pupil progress using formative and summative assessment strategies, implementing targeted interventions for lower-attaining pupils while stretching high achievers.
Partner closely with parents, carers, teaching assistants, and Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCO) to tailor support for pupils with SEND or EAL requirements.
Contribute actively to phase planning meetings, whole-school enrichment initiatives, educational visits, and extra-curricular clubs.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized primary teaching credential.
A strong academic background with a relevant degree in Primary Education, Early Years, or a core National Curriculum discipline.
Proven track record or demonstrated capability of delivering high-quality primary instruction across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (strong knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics like Little Wandle or Read Write Inc., as well as Maths Mastery, is highly desirable).
Superior communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a genuinely child-centered approach.
Up-to-date knowledge of primary curriculum standards, assessment frameworks, and statutory safeguarding practices (KCSIE).
Salary & Benefits
Pay Scale: Inner London Main / Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS Inner London, commensurate with experience), with potential TLR opportunities available for Subject Leadership (e.g., Literacy, Numeracy, or Humanities).
Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS), comprehensive continuous professional development (CPD), structured mentoring for ECTs, and access to staff health and wellbeing schemes.
