Senior Product Owner (IT)

Candidate profile: In this role, you will take ownership of defining and driving product outcomes that deliver tangible business and customer value. Working closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams, you will translate vision into actionable outcomes, create alignment among stakeholders, and ensure products solve real customer challenges. You?ll lead through influence, applying a deep understanding of markets, user needs, and data insights to guide strategic priorities and measure success. You will also play a critical role in fostering collaboration across teams, shaping strategy into delivery, and contributing to CGI?s culture of creativity and shared ownership. • Lead & Align: Translate product vision and strategy into clear goals, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Develop & Deliver: Define and track product OKRs and success metrics, driving continuous improvement.
• Engage & Understand: Champion customer needs, pain points, and feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyse & Inform: Use data and market insights to shape decision-making and communicate impact clearly.
• Collaborate & Influence: Work across teams to inspire and motivate, guiding less experienced Product Owners.
• Strategise & Prioritise: Manage competing demands and ensure product decisions drive maximum value.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role To succeed in this role, you should bring proven experience in product ownership within an Agile environment, with strong skills in stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, and end-to-end product lifecycle management. Retail sector knowledge or French language skills would be an advantage but are not essential. You should have:

• Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner in Agile delivery.
• Strong track record of defining and tracking product OKRs and metrics.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to link strategy with business outcomes.
• Experience applying market research and customer insights to product decisions.
• Leadership qualities to inspire teams and guide less experienced colleagues.
