Senior Product Owner (IT)

Candidate profile: In this role, you will take ownership of defining and driving product outcomes that deliver tangible business and customer value. Working closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams, you will translate vision into actionable outcomes, create alignment among stakeholders, and ensure products solve real customer challenges. You?ll lead through influence, applying a deep understanding of markets, user needs, and data insights to guide strategic priorities and measure success. You will also play a critical role in fostering collaboration across teams, shaping strategy into delivery, and contributing to CGI?s culture of creativity and shared ownership. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact, leading the way in how products are designed, developed, and brought to life. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead & Align: Translate product vision and strategy into clear goals, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Develop & Deliver: Define and track product OKRs and success metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Engage & Understand: Champion customer needs, pain points, and feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyse & Inform: Use data and market insights to shape decision-making and communicate impact clearly.
- Collaborate & Influence: Work across teams to inspire and motivate, guiding less experienced Product Owners.
- Strategise & Prioritise: Manage competing demands and ensure product decisions drive maximum value.
- Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner in Agile delivery.
- Strong track record of defining and tracking product OKRs and metrics.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to link strategy with business outcomes.
- Experience applying market research and customer insights to product decisions.
- Leadership qualities to inspire teams and guide less experienced colleagues.
