Compliance Manager

We are a specialist Lloyd’s market insurer seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our UK Compliance team in London.
This is a key role within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with responsibility across SMCR, regulatory change, regulatory reporting and licensing . You will play a central role in delivering the Compliance Plan, providing clear regulatory guidance to the business and ensuring ongoing compliance with FCA, PRA and Lloyd’s requirements.
The role includes line management of a Licensing & Reporting Officer and regular interaction with senior stakeholders.
Key Focus AreasLeading the firm’s SMCR framework , including SoRs, MRM, F&P and certification.
Regulatory horizon scanning and change management .
Oversight of regulatory returns and licensing activity.
Second-line review against Lloyd’s Principles .
Preparation of compliance reporting for senior management and Committees.
6+ years’ Compliance or regulatory experience within the UK insurance / Lloyd’s market .
Strong knowledge of FCA, PRA and Lloyd’s requirements.
Experience leading regulatory change initiatives.
Confident stakeholder manager with strong judgement and attention to detail.
Professional qualifications (ICA, CII or similar) desirable.
