We’re looking for a Production Operations Supervisor to support and oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of live and recorded productions from our West London facilities. Responsibilities

• Act as the operational lead for Chiswick-based deliverables, representing Production Operations in production meetings and serving as key liaison with Production Management.
• Ensure production information, event requirements, and operational updates are clearly communicated across all relevant operational departments.
• Collaborate closely with Production Resource, Monitoring Control Rooms (MCR), London Bookings, Engineering, and other operational teams to ensure event details are accurate and aligned to delivery schedules.
• Support the planning and delivery of gallery positions, studio rigs, production set-ups, and associated production requirements.
• Review resource allocation documentation and systems to ensure production requirements are appropriately covered and booked correctly.
• Confirm bookings in centralized systems to ensure correct resource allocation, Technical Operators bookings where required, and FACS testing requirements.
• Maintain an onsite presence during live productions to provide support for escalation, feedback, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate studio maintenance scheduling, ensuring work aligns with production requirements and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure studio maintenance, production activity, and operational deliverables meet Risk Assessment and Health & Safety requirements.
• Coordinate allocation, bookings, and upkeep for green rooms, make-up rooms, and associated production support spaces.
• Support maintenance of service facilities, ensuring relevant shared information areas remain updated with policies, guidance, and operational information.
• Identify and flag operational or facility risks early to ensure appropriate action is taken to protect live output.
• Assist with production confirmations, tracking call-time changes and overtime requirements where needed.
• Maintain accurate budget and cost tracking documentation, recording changes and approvals.
• Support freelance bookings, availability confirmations, operational updates, ensuring teams receive clear documentation and production information prior to shifts.
• Support the Production Operations Manager with documentation and distribution of new workflows, system integrations, and technical facility updates.
• Assist with rollout of operational process changes, ensuring teams understand new systems, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Provide structured goals and development plans to support growth within the business for Production Operations Coordinators.

Requirements

• Experience working within live broadcast, studio production, or production operations settings.
• Strong understanding of Post Production Control Room (PCR), studio, and live production workflows.
• Experience supporting live sport or fast-paced multi-production environments (desirable).
• Strong problem-solving skills with confidence to escalate issues appropriately.
• Working knowledge of scheduling systems, production booking, and resource allocation workflows.
• Understanding of Risk Assessments, Health & Safety requirements, and safe production practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build effective working relationships.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to live production support.

Background in technical roles such as technicians, programmers, or operators would be welcomed.

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out in the workplace.
