Presales Engineer

About the position:As part of our growth we are looking for a Presales Engineers. In this role you will collaborate with customers, the Product team, and the Professional Services team to develop thoughtful and impactful solutions that enhance our prospects' digital experiences. you will take the lead during the qualification, business alignment, and value demonstration phases of the sales cycle.

The ideal Presales Engineer has a strong passion for leveraging both technical and consultative sales skills. This includes the ability to understand and solicit business requirements, develop a strategic technical sales approach, configure and effectively demonstrate solutions that meet those requirements, and clearly communicate the business value they deliver.
Responsibilities:- Gain a deep understanding of prospects’ needs through in-depth discovery, on functional and technical topics.
- Collaborate with account executives, product managers, management and other internal stakeholders on recommended solutions for prospects’ needs.
- Deliver tailored workshops and demos to showcase how Personetics can fulfill the prospect’s needs.
- Become the trusted advisor for stakeholders evaluating the Personetics platform, particularly on functional and technical topics, and effectively influence stakeholders across the prospect organization.
- Demonstrate and communicate Personetics’ unique capabilities and industry best practices, through having conversations, leading workshops and demos, running RFIs, RFPs and proof of concepts.
- Position Personetics as the preferred vendor by building strong stakeholder relationships and cultivating internal champions.
- Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned with global presales peers.
- Act as the voice of the customer by regularly providing product feedback to Personetics’ product management team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3+ years as a Sales Engineer, or 5+ years in financial services technology as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Software Developer, or Technical Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of digital banking and financial services.
- Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Conversational understanding of architecture, analytics, Linux, Java, and SQL.
- Experience in managing RFIs, RFPs, and proof of concepts.
- Ability to tailor demos and workshops to specific prospect needs.
- Strong confidence and excellent presentation and customer-facing skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build internal champions across prospect organizations.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with account executives, product managers, and leadership.
- Experience contributing to or leading strategic deals, including stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar sales qualification frameworks.
- Committed to sharing best practices and learning from global presales peers.
- Act as the “voice of the customer” by relaying valuable feedback to product teams.
- Proven experience in leading successful projects.
- Strong understanding of Pre-Sales activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing and bank technology systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
