Marketing Automation and Campaign Specialist

Do you have experience in global online B2B email marketing using Marketo? Are you technically-minded and passionate about creating marketing campaigns to grow revenue and improve the partner experience? Are you looking for a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with teammates around the globe to build best-in-class marketing campaigns?

We are looking for all this in our Marketing Automation and Campaigns Specialist who will support Expedia Group B2B’s marketing efforts to our 38,000+ demand partners. We are seeking your technical expertise in Marketo and content creation experience to enable us to acquire new partners and grow existing ones.

Responsibilities

This role has two main sets of responsibilities: campaign support and automation support.

Campaign support:

  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns via email, social, direct mail and mobile including the creation of engaging marketing assets eg. videos and infographics using tools such as Canva.

  • Support the creation of content tailored by line of business, region, partner role, and lifecycle stage.

  • Create and optimise tailored landing pages for lead generation.

  • Plan and execute ongoing testing (layout, format, frequency, copy, etc.) to continuously improve email and landing page performance focused. Effectively communicate results to team and management.

  • Data-driven with an analytical mindset : Confident analysing large data sets to find opportunities and uncover ways to continuously improve our campaigns.

Automation support:

  • Enable the partner marketing team to deliver on their campaigns by resolving Marketo support tickets raised relating to email campaign set up, smartlist builds, QA and bug fixes.

  • Produce accurate, high-quality, thoughtfully designed Marketo solutions independently.

  • Collaborate with workstream leads and use datasets to uncover insights and identify opportunities to improve campaigns and processes.

  • Early problem solving and scoping - you will need to take the first steps to frame a problem (eg. With the Marketo to Saleforce sync) and develop a work plan for review.

  • Document technical solutions in a way that is understandable and usable for business-oriented consumers.

Competencies, Knowledge and Behaviour :

  • A passionate B2B marketing automation specialist : You love technology and have a knowledge of and enthusiasm for marketing automation best practices, emerging trends, and technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of Marketo and good skills with Salesforce . Experience in other marketing tech stack tools, such as Knak a plus, but not required.

  • AI-native and early adopter mindset: Strong affinity for AI tools and emerging technologies, proactively leveraging them to scale content creation, optimise campaigns, and drive operational efficiency.

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills: Comfortable supporting the creation of assets and content that drive partner behaviour across different channels eg. Email, social, mobile.

  • Data-driven with an analytical mindset : Confident analysing large data sets to find opportunities and uncover ways to continuously improve our campaigns.

  • Tireless, results-driven mentality : Able to continually critique and optimise performance with a positive mindset.

  • Experience with data modelling, database design, and segmentation techniques.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.

  • Develop and maintain campaign documentation to ensure seamless collaboration between the Partner Marketing team and Marketing Operations

Experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working directly in Marketo to execute B2B marketing campaigns

  • Proficient knowledge of Marketo and solid working skills with Salesforce

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SQL

  • CRM platform experience beyond Salesforce

  • Content creation and copywriting.

  • Marketo Certified Expert certification

  • Project Management certification
