Nanny

A temporary Nanny role caring for a 4-month-old baby, supporting weaning and development within a shared-care family in Canary Wharf, London.

This role would suit an experienced nanny with excellent baby experience who enjoys working alongside hands-on parents. The successful candidate will be confident supporting weaning, encouraging the baby's development and maintaining established routines. A returning Eden family are looking for an experienced nanny to care for their happy, thriving four-month-old son. This is a shared-care role, with Mum at home, so they are looking for someone who can work confidently alongside her, naturally adapting their support to the family's day-to-day needs.

As their son reaches the next stage of development, the family would value a nanny with strong weaning experience who can offer practical guidance and help establish positive feeding habits. One of the working days will be a Saturday, allowing Mum and Dad time together, so the successful candidate should be confident taking sole charge when required. The family also have a cat, so applicants should be comfortable working in a home with pets.

Job Specification
• Providing attentive care for a four-month-old baby
• Supporting the introduction of weaning and age-appropriate feeding
• Planning stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities
• Maintaining and developing the baby's daily routine
• Undertaking all nursery duties
• Working collaboratively with Mum in a shared-care environment
• Taking sole charge on Saturdays when required

Candidate Specification
• Strong experience caring for babies
• Excellent knowledge of weaning and infant development
• Confident working in both shared-care and sole-charge settings
• Warm, proactive and organised
• Happy sharing knowledge and supporting parents
• Comfortable around cats
