Product Manager - Real Estate Private Assets

HSBC Market & Securities Services provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services. Securities Lending Operations is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.
We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Product Manager – Real Estate Private Assets
The purpose of this role will involve supporting product development and commercialisation of the Private Assets product. Key focus will be completion of the Real Estate Product Build.
Candidates will have product development, product management and sales/client related responsibilities.
The role will include client engagement, analysing client requirements, designing solutions/operating model and working with the project team on implementation

In this role you will:
- Contribute to the strategy and associated roadmap for Private Assets with a particular focus on Real Estate and develop this cohesively with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of operating models for Real Estate, ensuring a scalable and global processing and IT infrastructure thereby maximizing cost efficiencies
- Design and maintain product service definition documentation
- Work closely with the Sales and Business Development team on various client pitches, RFPs, due diligence meetings and other discussions/negotiations
- Participate as key stakeholder to tactical and strategic change programmes, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and solutions are effective in improving product profitability.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong operational experience in the financial services industry while working directly for Real Estate fund administration services
- In-depth knowledge of Real Estate from an accounting background is paramount with some client facing and infrastructure exposure being useful
- Knowledge of Yardi (Investment Management Accounting, Payscan) and Yardi implementations is essential.
- Ability to work autonomously with a strategic mind-set, strong conceptual, creative and analytical content along with solid communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Experience in model/process design and definition, collaborating in change programmes would be highly advantageous
