Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge appropriate to the role of junior doctor on intensive care (2)
Desirable criteria
  • Postgraduate medical qualification. (2)
Skills

  • Skills appropriate for a junior doctor in intensive care (2)
  • Valid ALS or CALS qualification. (2)
Desirable criteria
  • Completed QIP or audit in intensive care. (2)
  • Critical Care course, conference. (2)
Experience

Essential criteria
  • Ability to take responsibility for assessment and clinical care of patients (2)
  • Completion of Foundation Training or Equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • 6 months post FY1 experience in intensive care, anaesthesia or medicine
  • Experience of NHS or similar healthcare system
