Key Responsibilities

Screen referrals to determine appropriate Occupational Therapy support.

Conduct comprehensive telephone OT assessments, providing equipment and suggesting minor adaptations as needed.

Make onward referrals to the community OT team for necessary home visits.

Collaborate with the OT Deputy Team Manager to manage the inbox and support customer support officers with effective decision-making.

Uphold professional standards as required by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Requirements

HCPC registration is essential.

A valid driving licence is ideal, to effectively carry out some of the role's responsibilities.
