Leveraged Loan Sales, AVP

We are seeking a highly motivated Leveraged Loan Sales professional at the AVP level to join our Markets team in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to Citi's leading position in credit markets by driving the distribution of leveraged loans to a diverse institutional client base. You will be instrumental in expanding our client footprint, building deep relationships, and leveraging Citi's global platform to deliver comprehensive leveraged loan solutions, making a direct impact on the success of our global credit franchise.
Primary Responsibilities of the role
- Drive sales and distribution of leveraged loans to institutional investors and banks across various regions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their investment needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate closely with capital markets, CLO origination, research, and trading teams to ensure seamless execution and client delivery.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback from clients to internal teams, contributing to product development and strategy.
- Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations, market updates, and product pitches.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to sales and trading activities.
What we need from you
- Proven experience in leveraged loan sales or a related credit product sales role within an investment bank or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of leveraged loans, HY and the broader credit markets.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and effectively communicate complex financial products.
- Excellent analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to articulate market opportunities and risks clearly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative global team.
- University degree
