About the role:

As a Senior Strategic Relationship Manager at Volt, you will take ownership of our most valuable and high-potential global client relationships. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving long-term strategic value for both Volt and our rapidly expanding top tier global client base, acting as a trusted advisor, partner, and advocate.

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue generation, and maximising the value of our solutions for our top tier clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact, collaborating closely with clients to understand their unique business needs, aligning our strategic solutions to their goals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What the role involves:

  • Strategic Client Partnership Acting as the primary senior contact for our most valuable global clients, engaging with C-level stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisor across their organisation.
  • Tailored Solution Delivery Partnering with internal teams (Product, Solutions Engineering, Compliance, etc.) to shape and deliver tailored solutions that solve real business problems.
  • Revenue Growth & Retention Owning a portfolio P&L, driving expansion, upsell, and renewal strategies with a commercial mindset. Develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Contract & Commercial Negotiations Leading negotiations for renewals, scope expansions, and new commercial terms that align with client needs and Volt’s business goals.
  • Insight & Thought Leadership Proactively delivering industry insights, regulatory updates, and emerging technology trends to position Volt as a forward-thinking payments partner.
  • Operational Excellence Leading internal coordination for seamless onboarding, performance reviews (MBRs/QBRs), and issue resolution to ensure ongoing client success and satisfaction.
  • Market insights Keeping clients informed about industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies.

Requirements

About you

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude with high ownership and accountability.
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic account management, relationship management, or customer success role within fintech, payments, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, particularly A2A payments (strong advantage)
  • Proven track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders (C-level), owning revenue targets, and delivering business impact.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you can manage complexity, influence outcomes, and build lasting trust.
  • Is a natural-born networker with high energy, you are a confident self-starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Culturally aware and able to thrive in a diverse, global team environment.
  • Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus).
  • Contributes to an inclusive and fun team environment.

What happens next?

  • Selected candidates will be invited for an initial interview with our Talent Acquisition representative. The video meeting will take about 30-45 minutes,
  • Then it’s time for a second interview! The meeting will be conducted by our VP of Strategic Accounts and will last about 45 minutes,
  • Our Interim Chief Revenue Officer would also like to chat with you :) You can expect the meeting to last approximately 30 minutes,
  • If successful, you will be given a job offer proposal.
