Senior Grounds Maintenance Operative

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a Senior Grounds Maintenance Operative to work with a Housing Trust based in South East London on a Permanent basis. The details of the job are below:Hours: Full-time 36 hours 7.30am to 15.30pm Mon - FriSalary: £28,815 per year Location: South East London Must have full clean driving licence company van will be provided.Job Role:Your typical day could start with carrying out a program of assigned grounds maintenance works in line with published schedules. Then you might be carrying out a range of horticultural activities such as planting summer and winter beds, maintaining hedges, turf maintenance, weed spraying, weeding, and leafing, before heading off to ensure green waste is disposed of in line with company policy and waste management regulations.As a Senior Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll be providing a high quality, customer focused grounds service. With a particular focus on maintaining our estates, you'll actively work in partnership with key colleagues to manage effective garden maintenance, developing and improving trusts environmental services to residents and ensuring we take full account of residents' needs.You're a people person who likes to get things done. You'll enjoy working in an outdoors environment in all weather conditions and you're first rate at general horticultural maintenance. To be successful in this role you'll need to be on site five days a week.Your role covers all aspects of environmental services and grounds maintenance. • Able to work in all weathers and in an outdoor environment.
• Have a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Experienced in the field of horticulture.
• Able to demonstrate practical experience in the use of powered equipment.

This role will require a Basic DBS check. A Full UK driving licence is required.
