Are you an experienced Private Client Tax Manager looking for an opportunity to join a successful, independent accountancy practice with an impressive client portfolio, excellent working environment and genuine opportunities for career development?

We are working with a highly regarded and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in London, seeking an ambitious and technically strong Private Client Tax Manager to join its established tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse and interesting portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, trusts, estates and internationally mobile clients.

The Role

Reporting directly to a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Partner, you will take responsibility for managing your own portfolio of private clients, delivering a combination of tax compliance (80%) and advisory work (20%).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of high-net-worth private clients.

• Reviewing personal tax returns and overseeing the compliance process.

• Providing tax advice on a range of UK and international private client matters.

• Developing strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to provide additional services.

• Managing budgets, billing and workflow.

• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have a strong background in Private Client Tax gained within an accountancy practice, with proven experience managing your own client portfolio.

Ideally CTA qualified, you will possess excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
