The Role
The school is seeking a highly organised and professional Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students. This is a key front-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, a calm and approachable manner, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the main reception area, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
Handle incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries efficiently
Maintain safeguarding procedures including visitor sign-in protocols
Provide administrative support to the wider school office
Manage correspondence and communication with parents and staff
Maintain accurate records and assist with general office duties
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload
Good IT skills and familiarity with administrative systems
Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
