Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum
• Utilize innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support
• Establish a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
• Take an active role in the school's extra-curricular activities, fostering student interests beyond the classroom
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of Computer Science education and incorporate relevant updates into teaching practices

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the primary or secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Computer Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
• Passion for continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest educational trends and best practices
• Valid DBS clearance and right to work in the UK
