Part Time Nanny
A busy Canary Wharf-based family seeks a part-time, live-out nanny for a gorgeous 18-month-old boy. The role will start end July or early August, and the family's ideal schedule is 3 days per week from 11am-7pm. Responsibilities
The candidate will take on full childcare duties during the day, although Mum may well be around and working from home. Responsibilities will include: Standard nursery duties - changing nappies
Keeping his spaces clean, tidy and organised
Educational engagement as alternative to nursery, with experience in Montessori or similar early-years methods preferred
Age appropriate food preparation
Bathing and evening routine support
Occasional babysitting
Taking him out to activities, parks, classes etc
Creating an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment within the home
Child-related laundry
Requirements
Relevant childcare and/or education accreditations are essential
Verifiable experience with children in both a home and educational setting
Warm, reliable, and proactive
Excellent communicator and a professional demeanour
Comfortable with Mum being around and involved
Calm, kind and nurturing personality with a pitch-in mentality
Aware of developmental and behavioural milestones, actively working with the family to ensure the child's social, emotional and physical well-being
