As a Sous Chef at Prezzo Italian, you'll be at the heart of the kitchen - supporting the Head Chef in leading the team and delivering consistently high-quality Italian dishes. You'll help set the pace and the standard, keeping service smooth and the team motivated. From leading shifts to supporting daily operations, you'll bring hands-on energy and attention to every part of the kitchen. Most importantly, you'll help build a positive, collaborative environment where team members feel supported-and where great food and memorable experiences come naturally.

- Support the Head Chef in running efficient, well-organised kitchen operations.
- Uphold Prezzo's food quality standards in every dish.
- Step in with heart to keep service smooth and on track.
- Work closely with front of house team members to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Support the Head Chef in running kitchen shifts and maintaining high standards.
- Ensure the team is clear on their tasks and provide guidance where needed.
- Lead by example, maintaining consistency in food preparation and service.
- Handle operational tasks such as stock management and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ensure every dish is prepared to perfection and meets brand standards.
- Step in to resolve any kitchen-related service issues promptly.
- Work with the team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
- Help train and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills. Keep the team motivated and working efficiently during service.
- Ensure strong communication between the kitchen and Front of House teams.
- Assist in managing stock levels, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
- Work with the Head Chef to maintain kitchen efficiency and compliance.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to support a high-performing team.
- A passion for high-quality food and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations, focusing on efficiency and quality.
- Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and stock control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
