Electrician (Planned Preventative Maintenance)

We currently hold term contracts for both electrical & security services and due to the rapid growth of our business, we are now looking for a new team member to join our team to help us maintain our current client base and continue our growth plan within our target markets. We require an Electrician to work mostly on a contract in East London along with various sites in and around London where required.

Electrician Duties

* Report to Supervisor and following set programmed works

* Carry out Electrical Installations in a commercial capacity and domestic and be able to test their own installation and produce test certs prior to QS.

* Be flexible with working hours as may vary with periods of days and nights as work’s needs.

* Carry out Various Electrical works from Small Repairs/ lighting replacements/ EICR Remedials/ Reactive works and maintenance tasks.

* Complying with company procedures and policies & follow health and safety guidelines.

* Undertake Callouts on a rota system, shared with other engineers to support held contracts.

* Assist on weekend works when required to support works and client’s needs.

Electrician Key Skills/Experience

* Must have 5+ years of experience as an electrical Installer within a Domestic & commercial Setting.

* Must have a strong understanding of the electrical regulations and practices and must be current.

* You must have good written and oral communication Skills.

* UK Driving Licence

* Ascertained a NVQ Electrical Qualification via an apprenticeship or similar.

* 18th Edition qualified.

* Current ECS card

Electrician Desirable Skills

* Experience working in critical/sensitive environments.

* Worked previously in a similar role

* Working hours are between 8am - 5pm with 1hour unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday. Nights and weekends at enhanced rate of 1.5hours and Sunday at 2hours.
