The Company

A specialist B2B and B2E events agency, part of a wider group with creative and strategic capabilities under the same roof. The Event Production Director sits within a delivery–focused team at every level, no hierarchy that distances senior people from the work, and producers move across clients rather than being locked to a single account. The Role

The Event Production Director leads day–to–day production on high–budget, large–scale conferences and exhibitions. Owning supplier relationships, budget approvals, on–site delivery and client dialogue across a varied UK and European programme, reporting to the Head of Production.

– Lead production on flagship conferences and exhibitions from brief to de–rig

– Sign off key project decisions and approve budgets day to day

– Source, negotiate and manage supplier contracts, maintaining quality throughout

– Own on–site delivery including H&S, build schedule and live show execution

– Manage senior client relationships and troubleshoot issues in real time

– Support and mentor junior production team members alongside the Head of Production

– Ensure all financial, technical, scheduling and H&S documentation is accurate and up to date

The Candidate

You are an established Event Production Director with a strong track record across large–scale B2B conferences and exhibitions, comfortable owning complex productions across AV, set build and rigging and managing multi–supplier environments at scale. You have genuine commercial grip: budget management, client accountability and project sign–off are things you do without escalating.

Experience with leading or premium brands is beneficial but not essential; what matters more is the depth of your production knowledge and your instinct for finding the right solution under pressure. Backgrounds from adjacent B2C or live event formats are welcome where the conference and exhibition delivery experience is solid.
