The Role

Location: London, UK

Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 per annum

Job Type: 18-Month Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee the fit-out and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) phases of high-end residential and commercial projects in London. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional with a proven track record in managing super prime construction projects, ensuring exceptional quality, and delivering outstanding results.

As the Senior Construction Manager, you will be the key point of contact on-site, responsible for ensuring all fit-out and MEP activities are executed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of London’s most prestigious developments while leading a dynamic team and collaborating with top-tier clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the fit-out, MEP installations, and final finishing phases of luxury residential and commercial projects.
  • Ensure all MEP systems are installed, tested, and functioning to specification, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Act as the primary on-site representative, maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery and handover.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to meet super prime construction standards.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective project completion.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide detailed progress reports to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Construction Manager or in a similar leadership role within high-end residential or commercial construction (super prime or luxury projects).
  • Strong technical expertise in MEP systems and hands-on experience managing complex installations.
  • Proven ability to manage project close-out and aftercare, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ambitious and career-driven, with a desire to grow within a fast-paced, quality-focused organisation.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
