Job Description

What will you do?

As an Associate Vice President (AVP) Account Management, you’ll be at the forefront of driving client success. You’ll manage a core book of Credit clients, nurturing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This isn't a 9-to-5 role; it’s a dynamic environment where priorities shift, and you must adapt quickly to address urgent client needs and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Ownership: Manage a portfolio of Credit clients, fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers at every level, analysts to CIOs.

  • Revenue Growth: Drive renewals, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities, taking full commercial responsibility for your territory.

  • Strategic Planning: Engage in quarterly territory and account planning, contributing to the overall Account Management strategy.

  • Client Advocacy: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring needs are met and feedback is communicated effectively.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate client data in Salesforce, forecast effectively, and track performance.

  • Leadership: Mentor and manage an Associate, aligning their priorities with your own and providing coaching.

  • Feedback Loop: Collect, document, and feedback client information to other teams in the business.

You’ll be a key part of a close-knit, supportive team, collaborating with various internal stakeholders. The team fosters open communication, thrives on collaboration, and values adaptability.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: You’re an account manager with a proven track record of achieving revenue goals (subscription-based selling experience a plus).

  • Skills: Strong renewal and sales skills, commercial acumen, financial understanding (helpful, but not essential), and proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to engage effectively with all levels, from junior analysts to C-level executives.

  • Behaviours: Flexibility, confidence, organization, adaptability, and a customer-centric mindset. You’ll be a self-motivated, driven individual with a passion for finance and a strong desire to succeed.

  • Bonus: Experience in fixed-income markets or understanding of hedge funds/credit firms is a plus.

Additional Information

How will you be rewarded?

We truly care about our people so in return for your work, you’ll get:

  • Vacation: 25 days (which increases to 28 days after 2 years of service) plus UK Bank Holidays

  • Learning: personal development allowance of £1000 per year

  • Health and wellbeing: private medical insurance and healthcare cash plan, a variety of health and wellbeing events to focus on mental health, Ride to Work scheme (savings on bikes and accessories)

  • Future and family: pension contributions of 4% (increases with tenure) and life insurance of 4x of your base salary

  • Flexibility: work from anywhere for one month per year, 2 annual volunteer days, 2 personal days when life throws you a curveball and 'Summer Fridays'

  • Social: optional social gatherings, daily breakfast and snacks, social events

  • ESG: CSR, Environment and Diversity & Inclusion (including Women at Third Bridge, Pride and Blkbridge)

  • Frontline Innovation: your chance to share your ideas for improvement through Hackathons and other events

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the country they are applying.

We know that to be truly innovative, we need to have a diverse team around us. That is why Third Bridge is committed to creating an inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. If you are not 100% sure if you are right for the role, please apply anyway and we will be happy to consider your application.
