Investment Trust Marketing, Associate Director
We are partnering with a globally respected investment management firm, is seeking to appoint an Associate Director for Investment Trust Marketing to join their UK Marketing division. This is a high-profile opportunity to take ownership of marketing activity across a well-established range of listed Investment Companies, with responsibility for both retail and professional investor communications.
This is a hands-on, strategic role, accountable for executing integrated marketing programmes that support the commercial objectives of the Investment Companies business. These programmes will target a broad audience, from existing shareholders to new investors, and will span paid and owned channels across both digital and traditional platforms. You will collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Investment Management and the Investment Companies business, shaping messaging and delivering campaigns that resonate with key client segments. You will also oversee agency relationships, ensure output is compliant with FCA regulations, and manage the ongoing optimisation of contact strategies and budget allocation.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans across investor segments
- Execute end-to-end campaigns aligned with fund board objectives and UK distribution strategy
- Manage media planning, creative development, content creation, and campaign evaluation
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape strategic messaging and prioritise activity
- Maintain relationships with agencies and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality delivery
- Oversee the production and compliance of all marketing materials
- Seek ongoing improvement in the efficiency and impact of marketing initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience in marketing within the retail investment space, ideally with exposure to Investment Trusts
- Strong understanding of the UK regulatory environment, financial markets, and investment products
- Proven ability to develop campaign messaging and briefs for both B2B and end-consumer audiences
- Skilled in using digital platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Marketo (desirable)
- Highly organised and process-oriented, with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable influencing stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- IMC or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous
