About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Tester to join our team in the social housing sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in occupied and void properties.
- Perform visual inspections and functional testing of electrical installations.
- Identify faults, recommend corrective actions, and carry out remedial works as required.
- Ensure compliance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Prepare and issue accurate reports and certificates.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing and Inspection certification.
- Up-to-date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
- Previous experience in electrical testing within the social housing or domestic sector.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience working with reactive maintenance and planned works.
