A progressive , inclusive secondary school in the Barking is looking for an ECT of Humanities to start in January 2026.

• ECT: Humanities Teacher required from January 2026

You will teach RE, History and/or Geography at KS3/4 . The induction includes training on implementing innovative assessment practices and using the curriculum to promote well-rounded global citizenship within an inclusive school culture.

Experience and Qualifications

• QTS or completing final training in a Humanities Subject
• A strong commitment to inclusive teaching practices and differentiation.
• Willingness to embrace progressive pedagogical approaches and EdTech.
• Enthusiasm for leading discussion and promoting critical thinking skills.
