About the role
As Modular Product Line Engineer you turn our data center design into a product. Instead of designing every site from scratch, you will build a standardised, repeatable modular design that can be replicated across sites to cut design-to-deployment time and cost. You own the modular roadmap and the configuration options, and you work across engineering to standardise the components and interfaces that make replication possible.
Your responsibilities
Develop a standardised, repeatable modular design that can be replicated across sites to cut design-to-deployment time and cost
Own the modular product roadmap and configuration options
Work with electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering to standardise components and interfaces
Define the design principles that keep modules consistent while allowing site-specific variation
Drive down deployment time and cost with each iteration of the product line
Your key competencies
The ideal candidate has built modular or prefabricated infrastructure products and thinks in platforms and interfaces, not one-off designs.
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Product Design
5 to 8 years developing modular or prefabricated infrastructure or industrial products
Strong systems thinking around standardisation and interfaces
Comfortable driving a roadmap across multiple engineering disciplines
Nice to have
Data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience
Experience taking a design from bespoke to productised / repeatable
