Key Responsibilities

As a Collection Driver at First Mile, your primary duties will include:

- Starting your shift from one of our London Depots (North Acton or Hoxton)
- Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route.
- Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes.
- Collecting refuse bags from clients.
- Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.

Shift Pattern

Night Shifts:

- Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts) with a weekend day on alternate weeks. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm

Morning Shifts:

- Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts). Morning shifts start between 5am-8am.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
- A clean UK driving license.
- Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Proficient English language skills.
