Leveraged Finance Lawyer

We are currently seeking Leveraged Finance Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom clients across financial services, private equity, investment, corporate, and other industry sectors, supporting complex leveraged finance, acquisition finance, private credit, sponsor-backed lending, refinancing, and cross-border financing matters.

Responsibilities:

• Support a range of financing and transactional matters, including leveraged and acquisition finance, lending, refinancing, private credit and cross-border transactions.
• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to lenders, borrowers, sponsors, financial institutions and internal business stakeholders.
• Draft, review and negotiate finance and transaction documentation, including facility agreements, security documents, guarantees, ancillary agreements and other commercial documentation.
• Work closely with legal, finance, treasury, investment, commercial, risk and external counsel teams to manage legal risk and progress transactions efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with relevant UK legal experience.
• Experience in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, banking and finance, corporate lending, private credit, debt finance or a related transactional practice area.
• Strong drafting, review, negotiation and advisory skills, with experience of finance, lending, security or other commercial transaction documentation.
• Commercially minded, collaborative and confident working with a range of stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
