OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE

We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact. As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.

THE TEAM

The Design & Project Services (DPS) team leads the creative vision, design governance, and project delivery across Rosewood Hotel Group’s global portfolio. From new developments and conversions to renovations, the multidisciplinary team works across every phase of a project, from pre-development through hotel opening.

This role sits within the Design discipline, alongside Project Services, Engineering, Experience Design and Operational Planning, and reports directly to the Director, Design, EMEA.

YOUR ROLE

As Senior Manager, Design, EMEA, you’ll play a key role in bringing Rosewood Hotel Group’s brand vision and commitment to design excellence to life across assigned projects.

You’ll be an active contributor throughout the project lifecycle, from kick-off through completion and hotel opening, helping ensure that design intent, brand standards and operational requirements are translated into high-quality project deliverables. Working under the guidance of the Director, Design, EMEA, you’ll collaborate closely with design consultants, owners, internal teams and project stakeholders to coordinate design efforts, maintain quality and support timely delivery.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Manage the design coordination of assigned projects across all brands, typically overseeing 4–5 concurrent projects while supporting timelines, deliverables and design quality.
  • Contribute to design development from concept through documentation, ensuring alignment with Rosewood Design Standards and brand intent.
  • Review consultant drawings, specifications and schedules, providing clear, structured feedback to support quality design outcomes.
  • Prepare Desktop Reviews and Property Improvement Plans (PIPs), including conceptual sketches and design input, and support the coordination of Area Programs.
  • Produce and review Heart of House layouts and design documentation, helping ensure operational functionality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with design consultants, owners, internal teams and Project Management colleagues, participating in project meetings, site visits and inspections to resolve design issues, track milestones and uphold design intent.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline, together with substantial experience in hospitality design across new-build and renovation projects.
  • You have a strong understanding of design documentation, coordination and project processes, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • You bring advanced AutoCAD proficiency, supported by strong hand-drawing and visualisation skills.
  • You are proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, with Photoshop and InDesign particularly relevant to the role.
  • You communicate effectively in written, verbal and visual formats and bring a detail-oriented, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • You thrive in collaborative project environments and are willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.

OUR BENEFITS

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes medical coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
