Property & Casualty Insurance Product Manager

Jensten Underwriting is expanding its product team and is seeking a Property & Casualty Product Manager to help maintain and improve the performance of our P&C product portfolio.

This is a remote role, with travel to our London office required twice a month. You’ll report directly to the Underwriting Director and work closely with Operations, Trading Heads, the Head of Pricing, and other senior stakeholders across the business.

You’ll be responsible for supporting product changes, analysing performance, and collaborating across teams to ensure our Property & Casualty products remain competitive and differentiated. This role suits someone who’s passionate about insurance, enjoys working with data, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the development and optimisation of our Property & Casualty product suite
  • Analyse product performance to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement
  • Support product specification changes and contribute to roadmap delivery
  • Collaborate with trading, pricing, and operational teams to ensure changes align with strategy and are effectively implemented
  • Assist with testing and sign-off of product changes
  • Communicate findings and updates to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and engaging way
  • Monitor scheme performance, income, and profitability, ensuring alignment with underwriting criteria
  • Contribute to the development of new products and schemes
  • Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends to maintain product competitiveness
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal governance standards
  • Promote the values of the Jensten Group and deliver positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders

About you

You bring experience in Property & Casualty insurance and a strong analytical mindset. You’re confident using Excel and Power BI to interpret data and support product decisions. You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with others to solve problems and deliver improvements. You’re passionate about insurance and motivated by making a positive impact through product development and collaboration.

You’ll also be or have:

  • Passionate about insurance and product innovation
  • Experience managing insurance products
  • Strong Excel and Power BI skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management
  • Organised, detail-focused, and proactive
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and solving problems
