Hourly Restaurant Manager

The Restaurant Manager is crucial to our fast-paced chicken restaurant, ensuring smooth operations and upholding our high standards. You'll support the Restaurant Leader, managing shifts, handling cash, and leading our fantastic crew. It's a hands-on role in a bustling environment, with varied temperatures, handling food products, and using protective equipment. It requires energy, organisation, and strong communication skills.

Key Details

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate + monthly bonus
• Hours: Varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel
• Contract: Full-time, with 28 paid holidays a year
• Location: Aldgate
• Start Date: ASAP
• Closing Date: 31/05/2023

The Work

• Maintain our high standards across all restaurant zones during your shift
• Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant
• Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
• Direct and motivate our crew, ensuring excellent customer service
• Ensure the restaurant's cleanliness and facilities are well-maintained
• Complete other duties as assigned, contributing to our team's success

What You Need

• 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
• Strong organisational skills, flexibility, and energy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
• Must be 18 years of age or older, with GCSEs or equivalent preferred

Desirable

• Experience with specific restaurant management software
• Knowledge of staffing, scheduling, people, and cost management
