GCP Devops Engineer - London (Inside IR 35)(3 Days onsite)
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client, a leading Bank in London , through our consulting engagement. This is an Inside IR35 contract role , offering the chance to work on cutting-edge application CI/CD pipelines and large-scale cloud-native projects.
Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer , you will focus on building, scaling, and maintaining application CI/CD pipelines , while enabling secure, reliable, and high-performing deployment processes. You will collaborate with development, security, and cloud engineering teams to drive automation and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
Must-Have Skills
Terraform Expertise with proven hands-on experience in GCP base modules, including:
Pub/Sub
GKE
GCS
CloudSQL
BigQuery
Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development using:
GitOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker
Containers Expertise : Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Anthos Service Mesh
Good-to-Have Skills
Prior experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google products
Strong understanding of security considerations and tools for pipeline security integration
Technical Proficiency
Proven experience in one or more programming/Scripting languages:
Python, Go, Groovy, Bash, PowerShell
Nice to Have: Exposure to GenAI/Agentic technologies
