KS2 Teacher - Croydon

Would you like to join a friendly Croydon primary as a KS2 Teacher from January 2026? The school is flexible on Full-Time or Part-Time appointment for the KS2 Teacher and seeks a practitioner who can deliver ambitious Key Stage 2 lessons and help raise outcomes. The KS2 Teacher will take part in pre-term planning before January 2026, will attend induction in January 2026, and will be teaching from January 2026.

A week in the life - KS2 Teacher
Mornings: the KS2 Teacher leads mathematics and English lessons as the KS2 Teacher, focusing on fluency, reasoning and extended writing. Afternoons: the KS2 Teacher delivers foundation topics and project-based learning as the KS2 Teacher. Training days: the KS2 Teacher engages in CPD and moderation sessions with colleagues that commence in January 2026 and continue across the spring term.

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities
The KS2 Teacher will plan and deliver sequenced curriculum units as the KS2 Teacher; prepare assessment evidence and contribute to moderation as the KS2 Teacher; lead small-group interventions as the KS2 Teacher; and contribute to enrichment activities and parental engagement as the KS2 Teacher. The KS2 Teacher will ensure records are prepared before review meetings after January 2026.

KS2 Teacher Requirements
We are seeking a qualified KS2 Teacher with QTS or equivalent, secure subject knowledge across KS2 and evidence of impact. The KS2 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026. The KS2 Teacher should be collaborative, reflective and committed to pupils’ wider development.
